With the DAS KEHRS, the Kehr family wants to set a splash of colour in erfurt´s hotel industry, which is largely dominated by chains. On the Petersberg - a place in the middle and yet high above the city - an old house has been breathed new life. The mountain, demonstrably populated and cultivated in the 12th century by Benedictine monks, has many peculiarities. Rich and visible history, anchored in nature, combined with the urbanity of a small university town. Nevertheless, modern and comfortable and right on inner-city life. Arriving by car
From O, S, W Leave the A4 motorway at exit 47a Erfurt Ost and follow the signs to Erfurt Altstadt/Zentrum. From N Leave the A71 at the motorway junction 10 -Kreuz Erfurt- to Gispersleben, keep right and follow the signs Erfurt Zentrum. Access via Blumenstraße. Before the playground turn right to the Petersberg, before the fortress wall turn right up to the hotel (traffic light).
Arriving by public transportation
Leave the main station, take line 3 (Europaplatz) or 6 (Rieth). Get off Webergasse/Andreaskirche, cross the street. Use the stairs next to the telecom building and to the fortress wall. Once at the top you can already see the gable side of the hotel.
