The Langholmen Hotell is located on the same-named island in the south-west of the centre of Stockholm. If you want to get to the heart of Stockholm, the Old Town Gamla Stan, just head east. There, you will come across attractions such as Stockholm Palace and the colourful rows of houses in Stortorget.
Formerly a prison, this hotel has an individual flair about it. On the outside, the building really looks like a jail, as does the museum, which is dedicated to Langholmen prison and its history. Some team-building measures were carried out here in prisoners´ outfit. So here, you stay in cells instead of in rooms.

The reception is open day and night. Here you will also find a ”mini café” and a small shop. We have also a nice pub, and a really good inn. Our renovated cells offer all amenities you could think of, such as flat TV, safe, and last but not least… a captivating charm.

Arriving by car
Get off the E 4 at Hornsberg. Turn first right on the street Lindhagensgatan. Drive straight ahead in the roundabout. Follow the sign to Södermalm. Turn first right, to Södermalm. At the trafficlights, turn left, and turn right onto the bridge. At the end of the bridge, you turn right twice towards Långholmen. When you have passed the small bridge to Långholmen, follow the sign to HOTELLRECEPTION
Arriving by public transportation
The closest underground station is called Hornstull, about a 10 mins walk. Buses no 4, no 40 and no 54 stop close by. The airport coaches to Arlanda is 10 min walk from the hotel at Hornstull.
