Arriving by car
By car you can reach Kaprun from Salzburg in about 1.5 hours, from Munich it takes about 2.5 hours. From both cities, well-developed main traffic routes and highways bring you directly to your vacation destination. Important: In order to be able to use the Austrian freeways by car, an Austrian freeway vignette is required.
Arriving by public transportation
The environmentally friendly arrival by train is uncomplicated: There are excellent train connections from all Austrian cities, from Germany and Switzerland. The train station of Zell am See is located directly in the city center. Buses and the Pinzgauer Lokalbahn are available to Kaprun.
