From the airport (S-Bahn)
The S1 and S8 depart from the airport every 10 minutes. Driving time is 33 minutes (10 stops/S8),to Rosenheimer Platz. Take the escalat or going in the same direction as the train , to the top, staying on the left, and follow the signs to the Hotel, through a small passage (Motorama) with shops. The Hotel has its own entrance at the end of the passage. Should there be no S8 waiting at the airport,you can als take the S1, which will also take you to the Hotel (with 17 stops to Rosenheimer Platz).
Arrival by car
Adjoining the Holiday Inn Munich–City Centre is an underground parking, which can be used subject to fee. The entrance is located on the right, next to the hotel’s main entrance.
Coming from Nuremberg
Take the A9 to the end of the Autobahn, and turn, following the sign marked “Stadtmitte”, onto the Mittleren Ring Ost (Isarring). Take exit “Tucherpark“ onto Ifflandstrasse, and follow this street for approx. 2 km. When the Isar appears again, on the left hand side, (at the end of Steinsdorferstrasse), turn left at the next opportunity, and cross the Isar via the Ludwigsbrücke (bridge). The hotel is within sight. Get into the right lane in front of the “Kulturzentrum am Gasteig” (big red brick building) onto Rosenheimer Strasse, and turn right at the light, after approx. 50 m, onto Hochstrasse.
