Congress centre Portus is situated in the very heart of the LifeClass Hotels & Resorts, in the centre of Portorož. Its seven meeting rooms, which were named after famous seamen and world explorers, cover an area of 1,600 square metres and can host up to 1,200 participants. Both congress and event organizers as well as participants have modern technical equipment, business offices, access to Internet and expert assistance of our technicians at their disposal.

This multipurpose congress centre consists of seven versatile congress halls of different sizes, which can accommodate between 20 and 490 participants. Its aesthetically functional lounge and foyer are the ideal venue for informal meetings over a buffet, a cocktail, or for a more formal reception, special occasion or simply a place to spend a pleasant evening accompanied by piano music.

The Congress Centre lends itself perfectly to organizing a variety of events: from business gatherings and meetings to congresses, seminars, training courses, conferences, presentations, exhibitions, banquets etc. Its aesthetically functional lounge and foyer are also the ideal venue for more informal meetings, celebrations, special occasions and weddings.

Of the particular interest and artistic value is Magellan congress room. It features exquisite wall paintings depicting scenes from Fernand de Magellan’s voyages around the world, thus creating a magic atmosphere of the late Renaissance making the room an ideal venue for events of the highest importance.
