The Hotel Mutterhaus Düsseldorf is a hotel like no other. Its unusual name already hints at its unusual character. The “Mutterhaus” was opened officially in 1903 as the centre of the Kaiserwerth Community of Deaconesses.
The building has since undergone extensive renovation; you will now find 53 rooms and 9 conference rooms/halls here.
Situated in the centre of an idyllic park, the Hotel Mutterhaus Düsseldorf provides cosiness and comfort as well as calm and focus in an extraordinary atmosphere. However, trade fairs, the airport and the city centre are all within easy reach.

The hotel offers 53 rooms: 30 single and 23 double rooms.
All rooms are equipped with a shower, a WC, windows that open, a separate luggage rack, a safe, a full-length mirror, a hairdryer, a coffee and tea maker, a telephone, free WLAN Highspeed Hotspot access, a flat-screen cable TV, a box of tissues, a cosmetic mirror, an anti-slip mat. Economy Single Rooms have a 0,90-metre-wide bed, Economy Double Rooms two 0,90-metre-wide beds (twins). In the bright and spacious Business Rooms and the Historic Rooms with vintage furniture are a free bottle of mineral water, new book releases and an extra pillow provided upon arrival. Single Business Rooms are equipped with a 1.20-metre-wide box-spring bed, Double Business Rooms with a 2x2-metre-wide box-spring bed while Historic Double Rooms are equipped with a double bed (2x2 m) - no twins.

The unique hotel in Düsseldorf is situated in the north of the city in the centre of an old park in the historic quarter of Kaiserwerth. It is convenient and central.
Travelling by car
Travelling from the north:
A3 to Breitscheider Kreuz junction; A52 in the direction of Düsseldorf; exit Ratingen (23);
right in the direction of Kaiserswerth; past the motorway exit A44 to the next crossroads; left down Zeppenheimer Straße in the direction of the Diakonie; follow the sign Diakonie right into Zeppenheimer Weg; next traffic lights: right into Alte Landstraße; immediate right into Geschwister-Aufricht-Straße. Old navigation systems will find us under “Alte Landstrasse 179”. The hotel lies straight ahead.
Travelling from the south:
A3 to the motorway intersection Ratingen-Ost; A44 in the direction of Düsseldorf Airport; exit Düsseldorf Stockum (30), there get into the right-hand lane on the B8 in the direction of Kaiserswerth; next traffic lights: left into Niederrheinstraße; right into Alte Landstraße; 2 km; right into Geschwister-Aufricht-Straße. The hotel lies straight ahead.

From Düsseldorf’s main railway station and Duisburg’s main railway station the tram U79 travels via Düsseldorf-Kaiserswerth (stop Klemensplatz). 5 minutes walk.
