There is a supremely welcoming lobby where Lelièvre armchairs upholstered in Parma violet velvet are enhanced by Art Déco lighting and Philippe Starck plexiglass chairs to create an atmosphere which is both trendy and cosy at the same time.

You feel instantly at home in this historic site which has been revisited by designers Alexandre Danan and Jean-Louis San Miguel. They have given it a neo-classical feel, with a palette of 1930s shades. Lounge bar, room service, private car park and personal service make this a leading hotel in the district of the Bastille and the Marais.

The hotel has 265 rooms and suites including 12 rooms equipped for the disabled, in seven 18th and 19th century historic buildings, some of which were designed by Gustave Eiffel.

Each room has its individual style and is equipped with cable TV, ADSL, Internet Access, WiFi, Pay TV, telephone, safe, minibar, tea & coffee facilities and hair dryer.

Food & Beverages

Situated on garden level, the hotel restaurant can cater for up to 50 guests.

The comptemporay cuisine draws on French inspriration and is attractively set out on the plates. The menu follows the seasons.

The hotel has 15 meeting rooms, all located around a paved and tree-shaded courtyard, covered by a gigantic glass dome.

The meeting rooms are equipped with the very latest technology that can be adapted to meet individual needs. They can cater for up to 800 persons for a cocktail reception and 200 for a seminar.

Some 1,000 m2 of space is available for organising events in a green setting bathed in natural daylight. There is also the Deauville room, where breakfast is served, which can cater for between 170 and 300 persons.

And all of this in an ambiance which defies any particular period, where Art Deco mingles with Philippe Starck chairs.

Les Jardins du Marais is just minutes away from Opéra Bastille, the Place des Vosges, the heart of the Marais district, the Picasso Museum and Victor Hugo’s House.

Directions:
BY CAR:
Paris is oval in shape and surrounded by the Paris ring road (which separates the city centre from the suburbs). All motorways leading to Paris join the ring road. To reach Les Jardins du Marais, you must take the Porte Doré exit. The entrance to the hotel car park is at 18 rue St-Sébastien (11e).

• Gare de Lyon
Take line 1 (in the direction of La Défense) as far as Bastille, then take line 8 (in the direction of Balard) to St-Sébastien Froissart.

• Gare d’Austerlitz
Take line 5 (in the direction of Bobigny-Pablo Picasso) as far as Bastille, then take line 8 (in the direction of Balard) to St-Sébastien Froissart.
