Noble Tradition - in the Heart of Saxony - is what the Hotel Chemnitzer Hof represents. From May 1929 to October 1930 the building was constructed in the Bauhaus style according to plans drawn up by the famous architect Prof. Dr. Heinrich Straumer.
Thanks to its comprehensive and careful renovation, Chemnitzer Hof is now restored to its former glory – and more modern and comfortable. The restaurant, the banquet halls and the attractive lobby have been added or rebuilt. The additons have however in no way lessened or detracted from the nobility and uniqueness of this hotel. It simply is a symbol of great architecture. The character is enhanced by the light coloured marble, artistic avant-garde sculptures and Meissen porcelain from the hotel’s early years.

Coming from BAB 4 Dresden / Erfurt:
• Exit Chemnitz-Glösa
• Turn left direction Chemnitz
• Onto the “Chemnitztalstraße” straight on
• After around 2,5 km you’ll see on the right site the building “enviaM”, around 600 metres after that there is a crossing with traffic lights
• At the crossing with traffic lights take left lane (on the right site you’ll see a petrol station) and turn into the “Christian-Wehner-Straße”
• Onto the “Christian-Wehner-Straße” straight on to the crossing with traffic lights, still straight on (beginning of the “Straße der Nationen”)
• Onto the “Straße der Nationen” straight on
• Around 100 metres after the 2nd crossing with traffic lights on the right site is the Günnewig Hotel Chemnitzer Hof
You’ll find parking facilities in the public underground parking with direct access to the hotel.
