The resort has varied, prepared cross-country ski trails of up to 240 kilometres plus, of course, 11 slopes for speeding downhill and a superpipe claimed to be the best in Finland. In summer Saariselk? is a veritable paradise for anyone who loves the great outdoors. Saariselk? is indeed a magnet for tourists in search of quality experiences: fishing, white-water canoeing, photography and nature in general.

The Riekonlinna is our high-class four-star hotel in Saariselka. Attractive rooms, where people feel comfortable, friendly and helpful staff, excellent restaurant, a cozy fireplace bar and the night club “Linnanvintti.

The Riekonlinna gym is available to all hotel guests free of charge. The gym has a stepper, rower, exercise bike and multi-purpose bench. Use of the sauna is always included in the Riekonlinna room rates. There are separate saunas for men and women and they are open daily from 3 pm to 9 pm. The hotel also has a private sauna with its own lounge that can be booked at Reception. The hotel also has a separate area for storing skis and other equipment, thus ensuring plenty of room for waxing in the ski-service room itself.
