The Hotel-Pension Alte Post in Ühlingen-Birkendorf is a lovely place from which to explore the High Black Forest region. At just 33 km, the neighbouring country, Switzerland, is just a stone´s throw away and is a popular destination. Waldshut-Tiengen in the south, which also borders with Switzerland, is only about 12 km away.

Arriving by car
From the south/West the L161 from Waldshut-Tiengen about Gurtweil in direction of Schwarzwald. From the North (Freiburg im Breisgau / Schluchsee) from Seebrugg follow the L170 in direction of Bonndorf, at Rothaus drive in direction of L157 Waldshut-Tiengen´.
