During your stay why not take a morning stroll down to Aoi Umi Park on the Aomori Bay waterfront? The park houses a viewing deck from which you can gaze out upon the wonderful azure scenery, as well as a variety of monuments and modern art. And above it all rises ASPAM, the impressive 14-floor Aomori Tourist Information Center with its unique triangular shape. The viewing platform will allow a rich view of downtown Aomori and the mountains of Hakkoda, and on sunny days you can even see as far as Hokkaido. The 14th floor has a restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of dishes made with locally grown Aomori ingredients. We also recommend you try some of the delicious fresh fish on sale at Festival City Auga and the Aomori Fish and Vegetables Center markets.
Conveniently located close to JR Aomori Station, we’re just 3 minutes away by car, or 15 minutes on foot. If you’re coming by Shinkansen, whether from the north on the Hokkaido Shinkansen or the south on the Tohoku Shinkansen, you can get to our hotel from Shin-Aomori Station in 15 minutes by car. Although this hotel is in downtown Aomori, it provides an amazing view of Mutsu Bay and the Hakkoda Mountains. Our hotel has a warm, laid back atmosphere, and is located nearby both Aomori Prefectural Museum, which is housed in a repurposed building with the chic architecture of 1931, and Uto Shrine, an ancient place of worship infused with the whole history of Aomori from its beginnings up to the present day.
