Due to the central location at the river, our buildings have always been of great importance for the town and an important place for trade as we well as for people to come together.
It is exactly this aspect that we re-address today and we try to preserve the past at our Bootshaus. Historic building details, rooms named after Middle Age professions, books about the life back then in Amberg, a place to come together.

Arriving by car
From the west and north via the A6 Nuremberg-Heilbronn, exit Amberg-Stadtmitte and continue via the B 299. From the south via the A93 Regensburg-Hof motorway, exit Schwandorf/Amberg and continue via the B 85 trunk road. From the east and north via the A6, exit Amberg-Ost and continue via the B 85. In Amberg, please follow the signs to Stadtmitte (town centre).
Arriving by public transportation
The train station in Amberg is connected to the ICE rail network of the German railways. From the train station, it is only a 10 minute walk to the Bootshaus. If you wish, we are happy to pick you up. From the international airport in Nuremberg, it takes only 50 minutes by car to get to Amberg.
